Back in July of 2025 I called Brewer & Sons to start making pre- arrangements for my dad. He wanted to pass here in Florida but laid to rest with my mom in Virginia. When I spoke to Amanda I was assured that my dad’s wishes could be done. The whole process was simple. I am about 45 minutes away from there office and was able to do everything over the phone or by email. When the time came that my dad passed away ( Oct). Everything was handled with perfection. I truly appreciate everything that they did. They kept me up to date from when they were going to cremate to when they were going to ship him off to Virginia. The service at Brewer & Sons was amazing.

When my mom was picked up from hospice, she was wearing a bracelet that meant a lot to our family. We even asked if it should be removed, and we were told it was perfectly fine to leave it on her. Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes handled preparing her body for transport home. But when she arrived at our funeral home, the bracelet was gone. I was there when she arrived, and it absolutely did not come with her. Brewer & Sons claims they never had it, while the hospice facility says it went with her body. Now, nearly three months later, everyone just pointed fingers while offering no answers and no accountability. For a family already grieving, losing one of our loved one’s belongings and being met with silence is unacceptable.

Our family's experience with Brewer and Sons in Tampa, FL was very satisfying and deserves 5 stars. They were very attentive to our needs and questions, and did not try to upsell or take advantage of the emotional atmosphere at the time. They continue to follow-up which is nice. They run a good business.

Every detail was managed for me at a time of my loss when I could barely think let alone make decisions. Barry was generous with his time and a comfort to me. There is not enough space here to tell you the things he and his staff did to meet my special requests! It was only after the funeral was completed that I could look back and reflect on what was done by him and his staff, that I could truly appreciate them.

I can't express enough gratitude for Brewer and Sons Funeral Home. They truly came to our rescue at the last minute when another local funeral home dropped the ball. From the moment we contacted them, they showed kindness, compassion, and a deep sense of understanding for our situation. Their communication was impeccable; they got back to me promptly at every step, easing a lot of our worries. Everyone we interacted with at Brewer and Sons was amazing, but I especially want to highlight Amanda. She was our main point of contact, and I can't say enough great things about her. Given that we were transferring from another funeral home, there were numerous hurdles to overcome in a very short period of time. Amanda was incredibly proactive and helpful, taking so much off my plate during such a stressful time. Her dedication and efficiency were remarkable, and she made the entire process so much smoother for us. If you find yourself in need of funeral services, I wholeheartedly recommend Brewer and Sons. Their professionalism, care, and commitment to their clients are second to none.
