Initially everything went as scheduled. After loading the dumpster the door would not close due to a worn hinge so I could not add the last few items that might have blocked the door and incur an extra $195 charge. A few days later I was informed of a $235 charge for weight over 1 ton. The weight receipt i was sent said the dumpster weighed 7500 pounds...the weight of 2 cars!!! This was household junk- carpet, clothes, books, one couch, other attic clean out items. No drywall, brick, metal or very heavy items. They had already taken the $235 and when I called they said the weight receipt was accurate. There's no way I had almost 4 tons in the dumpster, and no way to know whose weight receipt I was charged for. Recommend you use another company.

We're having a pool built in our backyard and we needed to tear down a small wooden deck beforehand, so I called around and ended up renting a dumpster from Budget Dumpster. I'll try and keep this short and to the point, but I would not recommend them to anyone. Our first issue was they cracked our driveway in multiple places. I could understand if the driveway was either poorly built or old, but that is not the case. We had trees cut down several years ago and dump trucks and excavators managed to not crack it. The reason it cracked this time is that the driver (most likely a rookie) could not manage to stay on the driveway. He drove off the driveway, leaving a huge rut in our/our neighbor's yard. You can clearly see where he drove off and on the driveway, which is exactly where the cracks are. So when I came home from work on the day that the dumpster was dropped off, I called and complained and emailed them pictures. They refused to do anything because they said the driver had no choice but to go off the driveway. Excuse me, no choice? Our driveway is huge. Regardless, does the driver not have enough common sense and decency to first call me to make sure it's ok if he has to go off the driveway to get the dumpster where we wanted it? If he would have done that, I would have told him to do the best he could WHILE STAYING ON THE DRIVEWAY. But, we received no call and no compensation or repairs. What's even more ridiculous is that I watched the driver who picked it up after we were done with it and he stayed on the driveway the entire time. Clearly the driver who dropped it was negligent but Budget Dumpster refused to do anything. Our second issue is they were late in picking up the dumpster. I called on a Monday morning and told them it was ready and could be picked up Thursday. That's 3 days' notice. Guess what? Nobody picked it up on Thursday. We had contractors lined up to start working on Friday morning and they had to wait until the dumpster was eventually removed on Friday to be able to access the back yard. Again, no compensation was offered for their error either. I understand that things happen, but Budget Dumpster did nothing to even attempt to remedy the issues that they caused. You might get lucky and have a smooth transaction, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect them to own up to any of their mistakes. Instead, you'll be left to handle everything on your own time and dime.

Our experience with Budget Dumpster was great. Their team was very friendly, helpful, and informative and quick to answer questions. The dumpster arrived on time and picked up as agreed. I would definitely recommend this company to others looking for this service.
