We have done this trip a few times and it never fails to be fantastic. The staff on board are super knowledgeable, today we had the Brilliant Bob and Capt Eddie who spotted so many of the local residents from Dolphins to birds and even saw 6 manatee grazing all the dolphins are known by the crew and they can tell you their family history and many stories about them. You even stop for shelling on an island. It's a great trip.
The best dolphin seeing experience in FL. This tour is good for all ages: little kids- they can see and learn the dolphins names as well the 20+ years of generational history of the families. The tour also makes the stop at the island for shell collection and even my 11 years of generational old son was engaged. The price is very reasonable and well worth the 3 hours spent.
My husband and I had the best time on the Dolphin Study Eco Tour! We saw 20+ individual dolphins, and at one point we saw ~15 swimming and playing together! The tour guide and captain were knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. I particularly love that the dolphins are in no way tagged or captivated, but instead they are ethically studied and cared for. We also went to a portion of the beach that otherwise would've been difficult to get to, and we found some of the most amazing sea shells. I would highly recommend this tour!
Awesome experience recommended by our friends who've gone several times. Researcher/guide Bob was fantastic, informative and professional as was Captain James (also marine biologist). We saw 35 beautiful dolphins and highly recommend this cruise.
Wonderful tour! Great price, knowledgeable staff, and very kid friendly. I was able to comfortably enjoy this tour while 27 weeks pregnant and there is a restroom in the boat! They also provide water. We saw a lot of dolphins and the shelling island had many beautiful shells to collect including sand dollars. Aside from a lovely experience I appreciated that the cost of the tickets helps continue the research this organization does to study dolphins. All around great excursion!
