Droughtscape did an amazing job at transforming our front yard. They replaced impossible to keep alive grass with a stunning landscape and patio that essentially adds living space to our home. We were the ugliest house in the neighborhood and quickly became the envy. We get so many compliments and people stopping by to take a look. Im a bit of a tough customer and Cody and the rest of Droughtscape team took care of me professionally and fixed any issues I had. Their pricing is fair and was comparable with other quotes I received.

We contracted with Droughtscape LA and, in all, Cody and his Team were spectacular. The house we live in now was a flip job and the flipper did very little (correct) with the landscaping. After getting quotes from three different landscaping companies, we opted to work with Drougthscape. Clear explanation of costs (itemized phases of work), good rapport, experienced Team, respectful, and fabulous/creative design eye. Services: Demolition, removal of dead sod, removal and correct installation of irrigation, correct installation of Decomposed Granite (DG), installation gopher deterrent mesh barrier, Zero-scape the front of the house/gravel only, additional fencing installed to make a distinct garden for the guest unit. About $69,000 USD. The biggest expenses were irrigation and fencing. Bonus: Our dog fell in love with the crew. The only con: our project began in December 2025-January 2026. It took longer than estimated because of the holidays and then unavoidable rain (for the one time of year it rains in LA). These complaints have to do with timing rather than any service, interaction, or decision made my Cody or his crew.

I hired Droughtscape to completely redo the drainage in my front and back lawns and to replace my grass in front with drought-resistant plants. They also replaced some fencing, rebuilt my fire pit, and installed smart lighting. They did an excellent job! I'm very pleased with how my lawns turned out. I have no landscaping experience, but Cody was communicative and patiently worked with me to come up with a layout for my lawns that I was happy with. Their workers were very courteous, reliable, and fast. I had to make some changes to the specifications as they went, but aside from my changes, they stuck to the budget from their original quote. Their quote wasn't the cheapest quote I could find, but I value quality over affordability, and believe you get what you pay for, so I'm satisfied with the price I paid. Several months after the work, I'm having a couple of issues with grass that keeps popping up in the front and some succulents that are not doing very well. But Droughtscape has told me they will come back to help me with these issues as soon as they have availability, so I'm hopeful to get these issues sorted out soon.

10 Stars! Highly Recommend Droughtscape! We couldn't be happier with the experience we had working with Cody, Anthony, and the entire Droughtscape team! They are communicative, forward-thinking, kind, meticulous, and truly masters of their craft. After gathering four quotes from various landscaping companies, Droughtscape's quote stood out--not only for its competitive pricing but also for the comprehensive detail provided for our project. They worked with us to install steps and a swale along the sides of our house to protect our foundation from water runoff. We were so impressed by their attention to detail and quality of work that we added an extra project: a clean-up of the front of our house, including tree removal and laying down pavers. When unexpected wood rot was discovered during the project, Droughtscape handled the situation smoothly and flexibly, helping us adjust plans so we could address this issue without missing a beat. Their willingness to accommodate and make adjustments along the way was invaluable to us. The results are nothing short of impeccable! We're thrilled with how everything turned out and are excited to share the incredible transformation with before-and-after photos. We would absolutely hire Droughtscape again in the future! I had an incredible experience working with the Droughtscape team. I bought my house in April and was looking all over town for someone that could redo my front yard and my parkways. They were so timely and helpful, and were willing to work with me on design ideas as well as materials and budget ideas. I will absolutely be going back to them for any other landscaping my house may need!
