This was my first time to Empathy Nails, first time using the builder gel product, and therefore, first time working with Ernesto. First, I am extremely picky about my nails. There's a certain length, shape, and color that I prefer. Secondly, I'm brutal to my nails - if the product doesn't adhere well or isn't strong, I pick it off. Thus, giving four stars after one visit has to say something. Since we're new working with each other, I had a lot of trepidation but found I just had to ask a lot of questions, show pictures of what I wanted, and ask for corrections/changes along the way. I walked out of Empathy feeling okay, however one nail is shorter than the rest, one nail is oddly narrow, and one nail is super thick. I like consistency and am use to a nail technician comparing fingers from one hand to fingers on the other hand, so that was different and disappointing. But, I'm not embarrassed and was willing to walk out knowing that. Now, it's been a week and I'm pleased - the product isn't lifting and the nails look very natural, I think (which is my preference). Even with the bumps of the first visit, I will go back and give Empathy another try, seeing Ernesto again. I wanted somewhere close to my home and that offered online appointment booking, and Empathy satisfies both those wishes.
I am never disappointed. Ernesto and Lisi are amazing, so talented, and take care with each client. I’ve been going here for almost 3 years and I won’t go anywhere else.
It’s a little hard to find, but it’s definitely worth the effort. I went to my second visit today Ernesto is a magic worker… He is very much a professional and a perfect perfectionist. He listens to what you would like and he gets it done to your specifications. I have found my forever nail home. Due to a couple situations, I had to change my appointment couple times he was so patient and said don’t worry about it. We’ll get what you need done and sure enough you fit me in like he promised. Best place ever! They are so reasonably priced also. I had an appointment today and they did something for me that was so unsuspected and selfless I could hardly believe it out of a business companies are rarely as generous and kind as they were to me today.
I went there for the 1st time, on a SUNDAY! I couldn't believe they were even open! Had I known about them they would've been my nail salon from the start. It's a small place that could use a little more atmosphere, but Roxy was awesome! My nails look so beautiful and natural. I will definitely be going back to her every time my nails need to be done. Oh and it was also less than what I was paying at my last place! Even better!
Professional, on time! They do what you ask, not trying to sell any extra services. Their work is polished, caring, and delicate with your nails— both for pedicures and manicures. The atmosphere is pleasant. I have been seen by Ernesto and Roxanna and both are great! Prices are fair and they use good products. I’m so happy I found this place in Cape Coral.
