NEW OWNERSHIP @ KELLY AIR - this isn’t the same company we all use to trust to be competent, responsive and honest with our AC needs! A Long Review But Could Save You Thousands of Dollars $$$ in Damages........Avoid Kelly Air at all costs - we just incurred over $10,000 in damages due to an improperly installed AC unit! Kelly Air installed our AC unit on August 1, 2024 and performed routine service on the AC unit on January 31, 2025, July 30, 2025 and January 07, 2026. The AC System worked fine until the drain line clogged (very common issue here in Florida) on May 28, 2026 and water began leaking into the attic and on to the garage ceiling. We imediately called Kelly Air who sent out a Senior Service Technician. The tech advised the AC unit wasn't installed properly allowing water to enter the attic and the air handler in the attic needed to be relocated. As this was not a "one man job", he advised he would contact management and they would be in contact to arrange the repairs. The tech went on to say and I quote "this one is on us, the installers who installed this AC unit are going to get a major reprimand". We were never contacted by Kelly Air and after the weekend, we finally contacted them. It took 3 phone calls before they sent out a different service technician who repeatedly told us he was a "straight shooter". As you might expect, this certainly got our antennas up when he kept telling us what a "straight shooter" he was. This technician inspected the AC unit and his diagnosis was the water damage was a result of the clogged drain line. When asked why the water catch pan located under the AC handler unit did not fill with water, activate the float ball switch to shut off the AC unit which would have prevented any water entering the attic, his comment was "water seeks the path of least resistance" and immediately changed the subject to the internal drainage system within the AC air handler unit. After making the diagnosis, we were presented with an estimate of $4,470.80 to make the necessary repairs which did not include the cost to repair the garage ceiling, insulation, etc. We contacted another HVAC company to confirm the initial diagnosis done by first Kelly Air technician. This company confirmed the AC handler unit was not properly positioned over the water catch pan and allowed the water back up to drip down through the rafters into the garage ceiling instead of into the water catch pan. This AC company went on to say this installation would have never passed a "building inspection". At this point, we received a call from Kelly Air wanting to schedule the repairs per their estimate of $4,470.80. When we advised them the damage was to due a faulty installation, they denied the fact the AC handler unit was improperly installed and commented the installation "passed" a building inspection and they were not responsible for any damages. Little did they know, we had checked the building permit records and Kelly Air did not apply for a building permit for the original installation on August 1, 2024. Long story short, we were stuck with damages exceeding $10,000 and were fortunate enough to have a Homeowners Insurance policy which will cover the costs to make the repairs. Use Kelly Air at your own peril!

What a GREAT company! Had a A/C issue and called Kelly Air Systems company and from the beginning of the phone call they wanted to help. They had a Manager call me, his name is Jacob. It was close to 8pm and he was about two hours away and looked for ways to assist. We agreed on having someone come out the next day. Technician Zach came out the next day and went to work. He diagnosed the problem and aside from being experienced in his work he took the time to walk me through all options. I send a special thanks to the Kelly Air family, they really care about the work they do and do it to customer satisfaction. Thanks Again Zach B. and all of Kelly Air Staff!!! After contact through website, got a call from Zach within a few minutes. Over the phone, Zach was very easy to speak to about my AC issues and setting up an appointment time. Once Zach showed up for the appointment (a few minutes before scheduled time - which deserves its own kudos), he was enthusiastic about walking me through my options and giving me valuable explanations and insights to help me make a better and more informed decision. Zach paid special attention to my concerns and he was very thorough with his explanations with made me feel at ease and more comfortable with this multiple thousand dollar decision. He paid attention to all the details - from measurements, dimensions to my and my fiancé’s use of the AC. It was an amazing experience and if I could give more than 5 stars in this review I would. Looking forward to doing business with you guys!!!

We have been with Kelly Air for over 7 years and always a great experience with knowledgeable techs and friendly staff. Our tech today, Zach went over and above in solving our issue promptly. He informed us of new programs available in detail and answered all of our questions and concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring. Highly recommend him and Kelly Air.
