Kristen bought and sold my mom's house 2 years ago. There is now somebody else living in it, yet we have not received a settlement. She continues to give excuses as to why she has not released our settlement. It has been 3 and a half years. She takes new cases while putting active cases on the back burner.

Wow where to start...Katie Woods started my case two years ago she didn't know what she was doing and never followed through. Whenever I called she would never answer so I would email her and waited for weeks until I finally had to go to her office to get a response. I rarely would find here at her office. She has no clue how to run a business or how to provide customer service. She wasted two years on my case and when it came time that we were going to trial she decided she could no longer represent me because she had other obligations. Katie forced me to find another attorney. She finally communicated with me well (daily) when she was encouraging me to release her and find a new attorney. I requested she reimburse me a part of my fees because the agreement was a flat fee for any kind of settlement and a separate flat fee to go to trial which I paid. It has been weeks now and of course no reimbursement and the communication has stopped. What ever you do DO NOT hire this attorney (for anything). I am filing an official complaint with the bar.

The Best!! Katie is an amazing individual and so easy to talk to. Easy to communicate with and truly tries to help. Not just bill. Not anything like other lawyers that I had experienced, where everything was to keep the case going and file paperwork and bleed out each side. Katie is someone you can trust to be fair and do a great job for any need you have. I have gotten to know a few lawyers in town and know a few people that have used Katies services. She is recommended by everyone of them. Respected by everyone and involved in the community making lives better. No one else compares. No one!

Bad communication, my sisters and myself leave messages and Kristin Woods does not respond, it takes her weeks to answer by email. She sold my grandmother's property for bottom dollar. My grandmother passed away December 2022 and the estate is still not closed. She knows the family situation, one of my sisters is traveling and can't turn in her paper work right now, my paperwork has been turned in and she will not release my inheritance. She has to have paperwork from all of us, I think she is collecting the interest on the estate account. In the final estate accounting my grandmother's personal checking to the estate account was missing and the sale of my grandmother's Blazer. I am getting ready to file a complaint with the bar association.
