The boat ride was really fun! We saw several manatee and our captain was hilarious! Overall the boat was great, stable, not rocking. Easy step on and off. comfy seating with shade for about 6 people. We took the 1.5 hour tour and it went fast. Captain knew a lot about the history of the area, ecosystem and how to avoid mosquitoes. Nice breeze once you get moving on the water. Loaned us polarized sunglasses for better viewing of manatees. Had a small electric motor in addition to the gas motor to get closer to manatees without disturbing them. Would recommend for all ages.
Captain Glenn was amazing. He made the experience so wonderful for my toddler and family. He had so much cool show and tell stuff. And he offered polarized lenses for anyone that needed them even clips for your cell phone camera to allow for better pictures. We got lucky with a cold snap that allowed for us to see a ton of manatees. I appreciate captain Glenn for his knowledge and the fact that he does this all The time he made it feel like his first time and he was just as excited to see the wildlife as we were.
My husband and I had a great time with Captain Paul! We went for a ride on 3/5 and had so much fun. Paul is so knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the area in general, we learned so much today. We got to see two manatees, alligators, and several different kinds of birds. Paul is very personable and easy to talk to, I think my husband and I could have hung out with him all day :-p We hope to visit again soon!
We had a great time on the sunset cruise. We were able to see manatee, alligator, and dolphins. Captain Chris did a fantastic job. I was very knowledgable on the wildlife and the area. The history lesson on the area was interesting. Would definetly come back.
We had a fantastic experience with Manatee Sightseeing and Wildlife Adventures! Captain John was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip really enjoyable. We saw several manatees and even a gator, which was a huge hit. We also loved that the boat was smaller — it made the tour feel much more personal and almost like a private trip. There were also several thoughtful extra touches, like providing polarized sunglasses for guests who didn’t have them. Captain John was wonderful with our 9-year-old and made the experience fun for the whole family. The directions beforehand were incredibly detailed and made finding everything stress-free. Highly recommend!
