I have been to all of the area hospitals at 1 time or another. But memorial hospital is my number one choice. I have been a patient at the clinic for more than 50 years.I have seen all kinds of changes , and they are always for the better. Sometimes the emergency room visits or extremely long. And that's irritating when you're sick or your hurt and you have to sit there for 7 or 8 hours. Nobody should have to sit that long to be seen in an emergency. .There is room for improvement in the e r.

This was my first visit to Easley Baptist Hospital’s Outpatient Facility and was, by far, the BEST experience I have ever had as an outpatient! From beginning to end, the staff and doctors went above and beyond to keep me comfortable throughout my procedure, recovery and discharge. The ultimate “icing on the cake” was a personal thank you card from my doctor thanking me for allowing him to take care of me and wishing me a speedy recovery!! I haven’t stopped talking about it yet! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and may God bless each and every one of you! ❤️

Prisma ICU fourth floor was hands down the best in last few days for my father-in-law. Sydney day shift and Noe night shift. As well as Dr Anthony, Dr Callhan, and Dr lucida(she cried with husband)? Can't remember her name.. the entire team tried there hardest and was knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic during the entire situation. We appreciate all of kindness of everyone.

The communication during my mom’s stay was very disappointing. We were told that text message updates would be sent to my brother’s phone number, but when we asked why we were not receiving anything, a front desk lady at the surgical front desk on the second floor told us the updates had been deactivated. The issue was only addressed after we brought it up ourselves, and even then, we only received about three updates before they stopped again. When I visited my mom in the post-surgical area, I was only allowed to see her for about five minutes, which I understood because the room was small and full of patients. A kind nurse told me it would be about 30 more minutes before my mom would be moved to her room. We waited, but ended up waiting about an hour and a half longer than expected with no further updates at all. By the time we finally got to her room, my mother had already asked the staff where we were, and they told her we were still in the waiting room. Once we entered her room, I asked another nurse to confirm which phone number was listed for the updates, because I wanted to make sure my brother’s number had not been entered incorrectly. She told us that his number was still the one on file. That made the whole situation even more confusing, because I still do not understand why we were not properly informed. The nurse also told us that if we wanted updates, we could call the front desk. But that should not be the family’s job. The purpose of the text updates is to keep families informed without them having to repeatedly ask. We should not have had to sit there wondering for that long or go back ourselves just to find out my mom had already been moved to her room. There was also no apology for the lack of communication. I understand hospitals can be busy, and I do appreciate the kind nurses and their comforting words. However, the overall communication was poor and added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Families deserve clear, consistent updates, especially after surgery. If I could, I’d also give this place for this occasion 0 stars for not appropriate communication. 😤

I have to take the time to say that Dr.Wynn in the ER is the best doctor I have ever met. I fell down 7 stairs and was hurt pretty bad Dr.Nguyen and his team were beyond amazing. I left there comfortably and I didn’t think that was going to be possible. We need more Doctors like him! So thank you so much Dr.Nguyen for actually caring about me and doing everything you could for me.
