Looking at online reviews late in 2024 to find an independent CPA close to home, I came upon S&S. I knew after a brief phone call with Sam that I would be making the right choice -- his kindness and integrity came through loud and clear. When the Eaton fire upended my life, Sam kindly submitted the filing extension request on my behalf, even though I was not yet an actual client. Once I was able to gather and provide my various forms, Sam had my federal and state returns ready within a week (very quick even for "off-season"). I asked for an in-person meeting to review everything before he'd submit my returns and Sam was happy to oblige. I was warmly welcomed by assistant Angela, and my meeting with Sam could not have been more pleasant, productive and reassuring. Sam provided context for the results of my return and made recommendations for potential changes that would help in the future. He also made time for good, old-fashioned small talk, which feels like a luxury these days. I left S&S feeling educated and extremely well taken care of, through expertise, honesty and pride of ownership. After a difficult start to the year, I feel extremely lucky to have Sam and his team in my "life business" family from here on. S&S is the real deal!
