Arrived at 3pm for late lunch. Plenty of parking. Service was quick and friendly. My go to dish, but shrinkflation hit the chili. Chicken came out hot and moist. It is my comfort meal.
The service was really slow and the food was really heavy. The food was very fresh, but it upset my stomach. Expect to spend $ 15-20 per plate
On 1/6/2026 8PM the standard was not up to par & unfortunately made me sick. Burnt “chicken” & less than a scoop of chili. That’s a korean fried chicken & chili plate. And the Loco moco patty was burnt. Bottom side down was partially black. Not shown was the tempura & unagi special. It took forever and it was fried batter layered with more batter…. This one experience out of 30+ years is shared so hopefully the cook can be retrained or they can hire someone else who can cook to the standard of Zippys. Thank you.
Hardly go to Zippys and other establishments these days due to the skyrocketing prices but stopped in late night for the September Korean Chicken/ Chili $9.99 special. Ordered two plates to go, service was fast and courteous since it was off peak. Of course what you get is never like what is pictured and advertised but for the price it is what it is. Chicken was like nugget sized and not like the bigger sizes but its a $9.99 deal. Hopefully they do more specials to make people come back🤙4 stars
This review is for the take out counter regarding service. From my personal experience, the counter workers do not prioritize customers. Why, you may ask? On almost every visit on my last 8 trips to Zippy's PC, the workers in the takeout area preoccupied doing something else. Back turned away from greeting a customer the moment they step up to the counter, or just not in the area at all. This is basic 101 when it comes to running a business and for as long as Zippy's has been around, you'd think this would be an area that's dialed in? NO! As a general guideline, there should always be one worker facing the direction of the customer to greet and acknowledge. Welcome to Zippy's! NOPE. I've walked up to the counter and have seen 3 workers facing the line with their backs turned and waiting a good minute before you are acknowledged you exist. Zippy's, is this too much to ask for? Or do you take your customers for granted even though your prices have sky rocketed over the years? I'm doubt this will be addressed, so now you know what to expect if you go to the takeout counter. It would not surprise me if dining in were the same.
